Our story
Smart Construction exists because of a gap that everyone in Pakistani construction knows and almost nobody had built for. Contractors here were choosing between two bad options: international platforms priced in dollars and designed around contract structures, tax regimes, and labour models that do not match how work is actually run in Pakistan, or generic local accounting and trading ERPs with a construction module bolted on the side.
Neither dealt with the things that actually consume a Pakistani contractor’s week. Daily-wage crews whose headcount changes between Monday and Thursday. Subcontractor ledgers where advances, retention, and rate variations all have to net off against each other. Certification in PKR with deductions applied the way local consultants expect. Site reporting that has to work for a supervisor with a phone and patchy signal rather than a document controller with a workstation.
So we built for those cases first and treated everything else as secondary. The platform is construction-only: there is no retail version, no manufacturing version, and no attempt to be a general ERP. Every module exists because a contractor operating in Pakistan needed it, and the roadmap is shaped by merchants running real projects rather than by a feature matrix drawn up for a different market.
We are equally deliberate about how we sell. Prices are published in PKR on the pricing page so a contractor can size the commitment before speaking to anyone. Every plan carries the full platform, because the module-upsell model punishes exactly the growing companies that need the software most. And onboarding is part of the product rather than a separate consulting line, because software nobody adopts is worth nothing regardless of what it can do.

These are product decisions rather than marketing positions, and each one costs us something.
Every design decision assumes a construction business. Cost codes assume packages. Billing assumes retention and certification. Payroll assumes daily-wage crews. A general ERP has to be configured into that shape, and the configuration is where the cost and the fragility live.
PKR is the base currency, not a display setting. Deductions, retention practice, subcontractor ledgers, labour models, and FBR-style invoicing were built in from the start rather than added as a regional variant.
Starter, Growth, and Enterprise carry identical software. Tiers differ on active projects and users. A contractor who grows does not discover that the capability they now need sits behind another purchase order.
Setup and monthly fees are on the pricing page in rupees. Quote-only pricing exists to control a negotiation, and in a market where most buyers are owner-operators it mostly just wastes their time.
A system that site teams do not use produces worse data than the spreadsheet it replaced, because now everyone assumes the numbers are real. Short field workflows, role-based training, and WhatsApp delivery are design decisions, not extras.
Onboarding and support come from our team in Pakistan. Same working week, same conventions, same understanding of what a certification cycle looks like when a consultant is slow to sign.

Unlike other ERP solutions, which are generic or adapted from international markets, Smart Construction is specifically designed and developed for Pakistani construction companies, workflows, and business needs.
We are based in Pakistan and serve merchants nationwide, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Hyderabad, Quetta, with cloud access for site and office teams anywhere in the country. Onboarding and support come from our own team, in your working hours.
Published PKR setup and subscription fees on our pricing page. Choose monthly, quarterly at 10% off, or annual at 20% off. Every plan includes the full software. Only active project and user limits change between Starter, Growth, and Enterprise.
Because the compromises show up in the ordinary details. A general ERP has to be configured into a construction shape, and an international platform has to be localised into PKR practice. Both are possible; both are where the cost and fragility live. Building for one industry in one market means the defaults are already right.
